Care for the Family is a registered charity and has been working to strengthen family life since 1988. Its aim is to promote strong family relationships and to help those who face family difficulties. They provide parenting, relationship and bereavement support through events, resources, courses, training and volunteer networks. Its work is motivated by Christian compassion, and its resources and support are available to everyone, of any faith or none.

Since it was founded by John Kirkby in 1996, CAP has rapidly grown its debt centre network and expanded its services to tackle the causes of debt and poverty too. As well as CAP Debt Help, they now help people step into employment through CAP Job Clubs, help people get control of their habitual dependencies through Fresh Start and a brand new service, CAP Life Skills, to equip people to live well on a low income. CAP’s vision is to bring freedom and good news to the poor in every community through a nationwide network of CAP projects.

The purpose of Freedom In Christ Ministries (FICM) is to equip the Church to make fruitful disciples so that it can advance Christ's kingdom more effectively. Its driving motivation is the conviction that the effectiveness of the UK Church could be revolutionised if enough individual Christians understood better how to walk in the freedom that Christ has won for them.

FICM equips the Church specifically in the areas of personal discipleship for adults and young people, marriage and family, and dealing with corporate issues that hold churches back. It is a resource ministry available to all denominations and groupings within the Christian Church
